Who Are We?
The Robert Kerr Ensemble is comprised of professionals who are all Walt Disney World® musicians. These four musicians, who have performed all over the world, come together to bring Kerr’s virtuosic arrangements to life!
Robert creates complex arrangements that challenge the musicians and create a sound much larger than a string quartet. The sound you hear on our recordings is the same sound you hear in a live concert. The current focus is on music from the Disney Songbook, but it also includes original compositions by Robert Kerr
What We Do
The Robert Kerr Ensemble was formed to record and perform the arrangements and compositions of Robert Kerr. For the last decade, the only way to hear this group of musicians perform these arrangements was to attend a wedding or event at Walt Disney World®. In 2023 we embarked on the goal to release an album of the ensemble’s selections featuring music from the Disney Songbook. These rich, complex arrangements sound larger than a string quartet and the album represents exactly what you will hear attending a live performance.
